Tucked into the former home of Siam I Am Thai (yes, the sign still says Siam), you’ll now find Jeeb Thai quietly serving some of the most special Thai food in the South Bay.
Owner Mook brings recipes straight from her hometown in Thailand’s Chai Nat province, cooking everything from scratch with so much care. You can taste it in every bite. Organic ingredients, wild caught seafood, premium meats… the quality here is on another level.
We were blown away by the menu. The khao soi is a must. A deeply rich, housemade curry noodle dish you’ll be thinking about long after. The fresh prawn rolls are bright and flavorful. And the pad Thai… completely different in the best way, elevated and incredibly well balanced. Each sauce that goes with the dish is absolutely delicious Every flavor feels intentional and incredibly well done.
They quietly moved in 4 months ago and I think because of the old sign no one knew, the table lay empty, that won’t last long once people try the food!
Pro tip: eat it there. We get it, the location makes takeout tempting, but sitting down and enjoying it fresh from Mook’s kitchen is the move.
